Food for Two is a weekly program for pregnant teenagers that focuses on health, nutrition, and support during pregnancy. Join other pregnant teens for food, fun, and information about pregnancy. A Public Health Nurse, a dietician from the Public Health Department and counsellors from June's Centre are here to answer any questions you may have. A variety of activities like Birth Art, creating a Baby Journal, and developing a birth plan, help you enjoy your pregnancy and to prepare for your new baby.
Teen mothers are always available to share their baby stories and offer helpful hints about breastfeeding and caring for your newborn.
Each session includes a full dinner shared with other pregnant teens and teen moms. Every participant gets two TTC tickets and a $10 food voucher at each session. Food for Two runs from 4:30 to 6:30 every Tuesday evening.
