Time can be spent hanging out with other parents your own age, playing with your child or just being in the company of volunteers and staff. There is always something to eat for you and your child. Our wide-open nursery space with comfortable rocking chairs provides a comfortable homelike atmosphere.

If you are going to a program at June's Centre, we can care for your baby in our nursery. You bring in the diapers and food your baby will need and leave instructions with the staff and volunteers about how you want us to care for your baby while you are out of the room.

You may ask for a one-hour break from your child just to relax in the company of other mothers or have time to yourself.

Staff is always available to answer your questions, concerns or just to share in the joys and challenges of your parenting journey

Parent Relief
June's Centre provides Parent Relief in our nursery for teenaged mothers who need to have their child cared for a few hours. Some mothers use this time to attend appointments, do homework or run errands. You can also use Parent Relief if you just need a break and want to have a few hours to yourself. The Parent Relief is provided in our warm and spacious nursery setting.

To arrange for Parent Relief, you just have to phone a day in advance.
